Dynamic Websites are typically database driven websites. The real contents are stored in a database and the actual website acts as a human interface to retrieve the information from the repository. The name is Content Management System or short CMS.

They also come with an Administration Area, which means that also non-literate users can add, change and remove contents from a site.

More demanding in terms of the hosting requirements, more difficult to set up and install but more flexible.

My experience with CMS systems is with the following:

• Koobi
• Typo3
• xt:CMS

I also implemented solutions with other php/MySQL based systems and some proprietary products.
