I am not a lawyer, but still have a sound understanding of the basics which are needed to set up companies, understand trading laws and negotiate contracts with clients and partner companies.
I founded companies in Germany and the UK and had to deal with local organisations to get this done.
In my various roles in Texas Instruments, PictureTel and SpectraLink I negotiated major OEM contracts, End-User Agreements and Distribution contracts.
Furthermore, the process of hiring staff and setting staff free required involvement in employment contracts.
