On-line Marketing

On-line Marketing, although today it is a major part of the overall Marketing Strategy is often seen as a stand alone discipline. In general all traditional marketing principles apply, only that the medium is the Internet and the complexity is enormous. The important thing here is that you market to the right target audience in a network which is basically available to and accessible by "everyone".

On-line Marketing or e-Marketing basically makes use of a companies website in combination with e-mail marketing campaigns. The use of e-mail marketing campaigns has to be done in the right way in order to make sure quality mail does not end up in SPAM boxes of the targeted recipients.

A website needs to be optimized for Search Engines (SEO), and it needs to be promoted on-line (Search Engine Marketing, SEM), AS WELL AS in traditional ways.
